A nano-spectrometer is a planar spectrometer-on-chip applicable to a wide range of light sources. Besides its small size, it offers a number of unique capabilities: offers unmatched relative resolution, up to 2.10-5, allows arbitrary digital dispersion and arrangement of such outputs, and can combine high and low resolution bands in one device.

NOD develops a spectrometer-on-chip for monitoring laser light, including femtosecond and  Raman lasers  and  tunable semiconductor laser diodes.
