NOD started pilot production of nano-spectrometers (NSM), which will be available for purchase through a web store located at www.nano-spectrometer.com in the fourth quarter of 2013.
NOD assembled and successfully tested the first spectrometer with a nano-imprinted hologram.
Limited rate production will start this fall. The launch of full scale production is planned for January of 2014.

NOD hosted a focus group meeting on spectrometer markets and requirements at its Santa Clara office on July 12, 2013. Several experts evaluated NOD technology and products and formulated advices on future development directions. The results of this meeting will be incorporated into the NOD business plan.

Board of Directors of Nanooptic Devices, a US – Russian company with offices in Troitsk (Moscow) and Santa Clara (Silicon Valley) has appointed Vasily Nikolaev as a new Acting CEO.
Dr. Vladimir Yankov, the Founder and the previous CEO will stay at the Company as a Chief Scientist and will actively help the new CEO in addition to concentration on R&D and new intellectual property.
